Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
No the shop is not heated or has A/c, just fans and misters if it gets too hot.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
One master Tech,one Service manager, and a lube tech.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
8 00am to 5 :00 pm Monday thru Friday
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
A/C Machines, Laptop Computer, and all scanning equipment.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Small one inside the station.
How many bays does your shop have?
we have three bays.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
About 267 car count. We know exactly how to maximize our bays.
What is your parts ordering process?
online.
What is your policy on side work?
Can not use the shop.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
My master tech has worked with me for 22 years.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We have classes online that we do and offer some ATI clases.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Depending on your skill level I will always support more schooling.
Can you describe your performance review process?
For the first 90 days it's every two weeks then every 6 months we go over performance
What type of safety training is required?
We have a manuel.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Side by side together.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
Through our local church and a program to help single parents.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
no we do not.
Where do you see the shop in five years?
Doing more technical work, like flashing computers and updates.
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
Everyone in our area Know's that we are a shop that they can trust and we have always done excellent work. We have ben in business for 30 years. We are here to help not to just make money.
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
4 pages and it takes about 20 min

No I like in person.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Mostly what we are about here and how they would fit in.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
We do a DMV check that is it.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No we dont.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
Depends how many applications I get. Maybe a couple days.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Couple days.
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hour
This would be clocking in not flat rate.
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00/hour
This would be clocking in hourly not flat rate.
