A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $42,000 - $97,000/year

JOB DESCRIPTION The Master Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealership service center and factory standards. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with dealership and factory standards Diagnose and repair any malfunction Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required. B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $48,000 - $83,000/year

Summary The Main Line tech position performs vehicle service and repair work as assigned in accordance with dealership and factory standards. The Main Line Tech is responsible for maintaining the requisite technical knowledge and skill to efficiently and accurately repair vehicles. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform vehicle maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive customer loyalty. Diagnose the cause of malfunction and repair; determine any additional needed repairs. Maintain and develop technical knowledge of vehicle systems including, but not limited to: drivability, electrical, major engine mechanical, A/C, brakes, suspension, transmission, OBD-II, and general vehicle maintenance systems. Communicate with parts department to obtain needed parts. Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer. Notify service advisor immediately if additional repair is required or not needed. Notify service advisor immediately if repairs can’t be completed within time promised. The Express Tech position performs will be responsible for lubricating cars in a quick, yet thorough manner, and for carrying out responsibilities assigned by the manager in accordance with factory standards, and building customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Foundation Automotive Group as a caregiver for their vehicle safety and reliability. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Diagnose and repair vehicle maintenance systems including, but not limited to: flushes, oil changes, tire rotations. Perform thorough check of customer’s car (i.e., battery, lights, and tires); referring all needed repairs and preventive maintenance to Service Advisor. Operate and maintain all lubrication equipment; perform all lubrication services. Receive repair order from either the Service Salesman or the Production Foreman and proceed to service lift. Lubricate entire car while looking for other items which may need repair. Make certain all equipment is in proper working order, especially the lifts. Use adequate, but not excessive, amounts of materials and supplies. Ensure that customers’ cars are kept clean and are only driven for business purpose. Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $100,000/year

Foundation Automotive is looking for a Service Advisor for our dealership in Wheat Ridge, CO. This position will interact with customers to evaluate vehicle service needs, offer recommendations for additional services and complete the service/repair ticket. The Service Advisor position is responsible for a high level of customer interaction as well as coordinating repair order completion with the service techs and parts department.
