JOB SCOPE : Automotive Technicians III & Master Auto Technicians perform all auto / LT related maintenance, repairs and housekeeping functions while adhering to industry standards and safety regulations. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Follow wheel on/off and torque procedures on all vehicles (RIST). • Program service and re-set Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems. • Follow oil change procedures including window stickers and resetting oil monitoring systems / lights. • Perform automotive diagnostics and repairs utilizing personal tools. • Complete work orders accurately and legibly utilizing MAP standards. • Comply with company service sales policy, recommended repairs, and manufacturer recommended maintenance. • Utilize company courtesy check form to prepare service estimates. • Protect customer and company vehicles from damage and keep them clean. • Comply with all company policies, government health and safety regulations. • Maintain a professional image in personal grooming, language, and appearance. • Perform all other duties as assigned. Education and/or Work Experience Requirements: • Must successfully complete TIA and TPMS training within established time period and maintain certification. • Must complete online training requirements and continue on-going education. • Must possess valid state inspection / emission licenses, where applicable, while adhering to government regulations. • Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and remain insurable (provide proof). • Must be able to read and write legibly. • Must consistently demonstrate the Flynn’s Core Values: Teamwork, Respect, Enthusiasm, Honesty, Dependable. • Must communicate positively and effectively to co-workers and customers. • AT III maintains two (2) ASE Certifications; MATS maintain Master ASE Certification. Physical Requirements: • Requires ability to constantly stoop/bend, walk short distances, stand, reach forward, grasp, demonstrate small motor activity, and lifting tires/wheels/parts weighing from 20-80 pounds. • Requires ability to frequently squat, kneel, and climb. • Requires ability to occasionally sit, drive vehicles, twist, and crawl. • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
