Yes our shop is Heated and Air Conditioned

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Our team consists of 22 techs, 5 advisors, a shop foreman/dispatcher, a Lane Manager and a Service Director

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Our Shift Hours are M-F 8-5 with rotating Saturdays 8-5

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide any Ford Special Tools, Tire Machines, Alignment Machines, AC machines, brake lathes, and various flush machines

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a separate break room for our techs with a separate bathroom

How many bays does your shop have?

Our shop has 32 lifts and 5 flat stalls

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average around 1200 - 1400 RO's per month

What is your parts ordering process?

Our Parts are ordered in the shop at the back parts counter

What is your policy on side work?

We encourage our employees to enjoy their downtime as our shops are all very busy and we know time with friends and family makes for a well-rounded employee

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We have a strong team environment here and enjoy working together.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We support all ASE and factory training and pay for all online training for our Technicians.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Any of our Service Personnel can advance through our dealership by becoming Service Advisors, Service Managers, Parts Counter Team Members or Parts Managers. We believe in advancement within our organization.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We have a 90 Day Tech Review Process. Our objective is to identify your current performance plus your desired goals and how we can help you get there! We want to help make you as successful as you want to be while working here.

What type of safety training is required?

We require our Techs to complete ALI Certified Online Lift Safety Training. We also utilitize KPA to ensure all of our shops are safe with quarterly on site reviews

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have a Technician Mentorship Program which allows entry level techs to work along side Master Techs. This varies by dealership and Tech position when available

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are very involved in our community in each of our markets in different ways. Specifically in Georgia, we sponsor local schools, the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia, Macon Volunteer Clinic, Emory Winship Cancer Center, Mercer University, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and Presbyterian Homes of Georgia along with others.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We work with Local Schools to recruit and try to encourage growth in the Automotive Profession

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes! We enjoy talking to our candidates on the phone whenever possible to answer questions and get to know you before our in person interview

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Our in-person interviews include a tour of our dealership and shop, a full explanation of the job and benefits plus we like to involve other team members to give you an opportunity to meet other folks you will be working with. Sometimes this might include the GM or the Parts Manager or even a Service Advisor

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes we do perform background checks, a drug screen and you will need a valid driver's license. All candidates must have a valid drivers license to qualify for insurance coverage.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

During the interview we discuss and review all previous and current experience in detail along with all training and certification you have completed. It's always helpful to bring records of any completed certification documents you have on hand to your interview for discussion.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Depending on the position, it can be 24-48 hours!

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Provided we can quickly make contact with each other and meet in a timely manner, it takes about 7 days. Like you, we are excited to make contact and get together as quickly as possible.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

We try to make our hiring process easy on our applicants. If there is anything we can do better, we hope you will share it with us. We always want our applicants to feel excited about joining our team!

Main Line Tech Pay Range: $25.00 - $45.00/hour

Hourly rate varies based on certification and experience. Plus you will be included in our ANNUAL LONGEVITY BONUS FLAT RATE PAY PROGRAM: A longevity bonus of .50 cents per hour flagged will be paid on April 15th of the following Calendar Year to active Five Star Technicians for every hour flagged from January 1st to December 31st of the current calendar year.

Body Shop Estimator Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00/year

Annual Salary commensurate on experience.

Collision Tech Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00/year

Annual Salary based on certification, experience and hours turned.

Full-time employees are eligible for PTO to use for vacation, illness and other personal time, and begin accruing PTO immediately. The length of your PTO accrual rate depends on your years of service with us. Employees accrue PTO on their anniversary date, according to the following schedule: During Year 1: 5 Days/ 1.67 hours per pay period. After 1 Year: 10 days / 3.34 hours per pay period. After 10 Years: 15days / 5.0 hours per pay period
