Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Our shop is heated and has good air flow in the summer!

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We run a team of about 5-6 techs and 4 Service Advisors

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Our shop hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00am-5:00pm

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We supply major equipment and specialty tools. Techs provide their own set of tools as well

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have 2 break rooms for employees both are air conditioned

How many bays does your shop have?

15 Bays and 1 mobile heavy-duty bay

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average between 1200 to 1400!

What is your parts ordering process?

We have a full-service parts department that can supply parts as soon as the same day!

What is your policy on side work?

Employees are able to work on their own cars after hours with a repair order!

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We do offer on the job training as well as Mopar training!

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Once established, and trained, this is a rewarding career. There's always room for growth and education for the right technician willing to put in the time and work

Can you describe your performance review process?

We do yearly reviews. We discuss the candidate's performance from the past year, this includes the positives and what they might be able to work on. We also discuss goals for the upcoming year

What type of safety training is required?

We work with KPA to ensure tech knows how to work hoist and other items associated with job!

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Most of our techs who have been here for 25 years are more than willing to show the next group the tricks of the trade. When time permits they will be available to work side by side and answer any questions

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We do high school events such as showcasing products and careers in the automotive field

Where do you see the shop in five years?

I see our shop as more of a computer lab with electric cars on the rise. That being said, having good hard-working employees around us will be instrumental in our business growth. We're always looking to stay current in the industry, and take our company to the next level

Application can be filled out in about 15 minutes

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We do a light phone screen to see if the person is a fit for the position, and how serious they are. They then get moved into the in-person portion of the process

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Interview is completed with the manager. We discuss work history, skill set, and career goals. We also like to see if the candidate will be a good fit, and how they interact with others

Skill assessment is done through the interview process
