We are shop with a crew of 4-5 technicians

Shop hours are 7:30am-4:30pm, 1st shift only

Shop supplies typical lifting equipment, scanners, heavy sockets and impact guns, etc

What type of break room facility is provided?

There is a lunch room with table, chairs, fridge, microwave.

How many bays does your shop have?

3- 60’ long bays

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts request form with work order.

What is your policy on side work?

Conflict of interest form filled out and signed annually. We do not allow side work on like vehicles.

We offer in house training and manufacturer training when it's available

Performance reviews are completed during the first quarter of the year, and are determined based on punctuality, work ethic, and skill level.

No training required. We will train new employees as part of onboarding process.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We are an hourly facility with a very knowledgeable staff. It is expected that everyone works together to expedite the repair process of every vehicle in order to deliver the best product and outcome for our customers.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Various contributions and involvement with school programs, non-profits, etc...

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

As our business grows we are getting more involved in this outreach.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Still thriving as it has for the last 25 years. We hope to add additional service and parts opportunities with a possibility of expansion into other markets under the right conditions.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes, it only takes about 10 minutes worth of time

Yes. Conversation includes basic discussion of the candidates background, and getting to know the person

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Interview is done by the owner. This includes answering any questions from the candidate, talking more about their experience, certifications and tools. We end the interview with a shop tour

Yes

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No. Skill assessment with happen through our interview process but technicians will be evaluated over a 90-day probationary period

24-48 hours. We will communicate this with you during the interview process.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00/hour

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00/year

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $25.00/hour

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00/hour

Part time AM or PM work available while still in training. Monday - Friday (4 hours per day) This is an hourly wage. The goal of this position is to learn and grow enough through that period of time that you would move into a C technician position immediately or shortly after becoming a full-time employee.

Parts Specialist Pay Range: $15.00 - $25.00/hour
