Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

asbury has a training program provided that takes young up and coming talent and speeds 2 hours a night by weekly to develop and train with the goal in mind to stream line express to main line technician. coggin toyota will pair you with a main line experienced technician once in TACT program to further career enducation

asbury does pay out for community service

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We do have an online application and it usually takes less than 20 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Applicants are phone screened by a Manager in store and then an in person or phone interview is scheduled with the service manager.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

One on one questions and answer with the service manager and shop foreman if available

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Assessments may be conducted prior to offer. Background, MVR and Drug Screens are conducted after offer and with hire being contingent to outcome.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

There are some assessments that are performed online, just a better way to understand you as a person potentially joining our team

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Typically within 24 hours but no longer than 48 hours depending on the applicant screening count

Approximately 1 week, though typically sooner depending on availability

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $75,000 - $125,000/year

Techs are paid flat rate hours base on the hours they turn individually and are not limited to

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $85,000/year

Techs are paid flat rate hours base on the hours they turn individually and are not limited to

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $65,000/year

Techs are paid flat rate hours base on the hours they turn individually and are not limited to

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $20,000 - $35,000/year ($9.62 - $16.83/hr)

this is an hourly paid postion with spiff bonus based on production weekly

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $110,000/year

sale commission weekly and a monthly commission bonus based on metrics

(Up to 22 days depending on length of employment service) PTO (Paid Time Off) • Available to use after 6 months of employment. • PTO hours will be awarded based on tenure and date of hire as of January 1. • For new hires hired in: o January-88 hours (11 days) o February-80 hours (10 days) o March-72 hours (9 days) o April-64 hours (8 days) o May-56 hours (7 days) • 6 months to 2 years tenure on January 1-88 hours per calendar year. • 3 to 6 years tenure on January 1-136 hours per calendar year • 7+ years tenure on January 1-176 hours per calendar year.

Technicians and Fixed Operations Employees receive 6 paid holidays. These holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.
