Both shop have central heating and cooling

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Our teams are small, this is so everyone will have time to learn and grow, typical 5-6 techs to a team.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shops is opened from 7am to 7pm, and Saturday from 8am to 5pm. their is currently 2 shifts 7am to 4pm and 10am to 7 pm, Saturdays are rotating with a day off during the week if your working a Saturday

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all manufacture essential tools. we also provide a car pusher , jack and jack stands . we supply the laptops needed for scanning and programming

What type of break room facility is provided?

Break room with table and chairs, microwave oven, refrigerator with free water

How many bays does your shop have?

24

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We are averaging 1700 repair order per month

What is your parts ordering process?

Quotes are generating electronically , service advisors will inform our parts department to order necessary parts

What is your policy on side work?

This is not allowed

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We are a group that strive to help each other day in and day out. There is always someone her to help. our schedule is flexible.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer on site training and we also offer off site manufacture training. All training we pay for including car rental and hotel room.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Your have the opportunity to go from a lube tech to a Nissan Master technician.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Our performance review is a one on one process, we look at daily tasks our technician can improve on.

What type of safety training is required?

Lift safety training is required, we have online access in store to get this completed.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have a designated apprentice program in house, one or two apprentice work along side a Nissan Master tech.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

During the Holidays we collect toys for tots

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We host career fair at J-tech one of our local training school.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

In 5 years our shop with the highest number of trained techs

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes we have our application online, it typical takes less than 15 minutes.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes we do screen candidates before in-person interviews

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Our in person interview includes a direct interview with the service manager.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do perform a background checks, drug screen and personality test before hiring.

We do not perform a a skill assessment before hiring

You should hear something in no longer than 48 hours.

If the applicants background and drug screening are all good, week at most

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $67,000 - $82,000/year ($32.21 - $39.42/hr)

ASE certificate , manufacture certified , weekly pay

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $50,000/year ($21.63 - $24.04/hr)

flat rate pay, based on experience , weekly pay

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $37,000 - $42,000/year ($17.79 - $20.19/hr)

flate rate and hybrid with hourly for apprentice training weekly pay

401 K Company match offered through Fidelity. All full-time and part-time team members are eligible to participate in the retirement savings plan. • Eligibility: The Sunday following 84 days of employment. • Company match after one year of 50% on the first 6% of deferral. • Three year vesting scheduling on company match

PTO offered. (Up to 22 days depending on length of employment service) PTO (Paid Time Off) • Available to use after 6 months of employment. • PTO hours will be awarded based on tenure and date of hire as of January 1. • For new hires hired in: o January-88 hours (11 days) o February-80 hours (10 days) o March-72 hours (9 days) o April-64 hours (8 days) o May-56 hours (7 days) • 6 months to 2 years tenure on January 1-88 hours per calendar year. • 3 to 6 years tenure on January 1-136 hours per calendar year • 7+ years tenure on January 1-176 hours per calendar year.
Paid Holidays Offered
Technicians and Fixed Operations Employees receive 6 paid holidays. These holidays include: New Years Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, and Christmas Day.

Company-paid life insurance • $30,000 Company paid life insurance provided to all full time team members. • Additional life insurance may be purchased on team member, spouse and/or children

• Tool allowances available for select positions. Holiday Match Program- Team members who elect to defer one percent (1%) of their earnings up to a maximum of $100,000 gross wages (maximum $1,000 deferral) will receive that back on or after Thanksgiving plus another one percent (1%) match from the company (maximum $1,000 match from the company).
