Shop has all major tools and specialty tools constantly updating as needed

Tech has their own dedicated break room

How many bays does your shop have?

40+ bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average 3,400 Customer pay repair orders and 500 warranty repair orders along with a varying degree of internal work.

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts department has a 98% fill rate and all remaining parts are either located locally or ordered when needed.

What is your policy on side work?

All employees with an open repair can work on direct families vehicles after scheduled working hours

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We constantly have employee recognition events that include birthday celebrations, tool giveaways and stand out prizes

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Continued training is always a must for all technicians, we cultivate growth to benefit the team member and the guest experience.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Technicians are categorized in categories A, B and C, and are constantly evaluated and encouraged to constantly grow.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Every team member is reviewed after initial 30 days, 6 months then every year. We sit down go over metrics of how the store can help their individual growth and access what the future will look like.

What type of safety training is required?

Once a year we require safety training to operate lift controls.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Senior techs are given a younger less trained technician to mentor and work as a team.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Blood drive along with local charity support

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We are constantly working with UTI and their students to develop future leaders in our industry

Where do you see the shop in five years?

New facility and increasing traffic and growth overall exponentially

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Applications are completed at http://www.asburycareers.com/ and generally take about an hour to complete from start to finish.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We welcome initial applicants by any means in person or over the phone.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We want to make sure you are comfortable and all expectations the store and you have can be met. The last thing we will every do is promise and not deliver, once a technician is onboarded they become family and we are accountable for the well being of every family member.

No, assessment is done during the interview process through the discovery phase

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

We like to make a decision within 48 hours of meeting the applicant

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

This should only take 48 hours depending on if the applicant is able to come in the store and meet out current family members.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00/year ($24.04 - $72.12/hr)

Flat rate with retention bonus, based on experience and certifications

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00/year ($19.23 - $24.04/hr)

Flat rate with retention bonus, based on experience and certifications

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00/year ($12.02 - $19.23/hr)
