Team size consists of about 40 members

7:30am-6:00pm

All factory required special tools, and related tools to do the job correctly.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a newly installed employee lounge fully equipped with a new refrigerator. microwave, 70 inch flat screen TV.

How many bays does your shop have?

31 (Includes alignment rack)

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1380 ( Includes warranty, internal, customer)

What is your parts ordering process?

All special order requests are done through our parts department.

What is your policy on side work?

No outside work is to be done in the shop.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We have a very inviting culture in our store, not just service or parts. We pride ourselves on taking care of our people.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes

We have a dealer group with 30 franchises.

We monitor production goals and objectives weekly and review them to make sure we are achieving those goals.

What type of safety training is required?

All manufacturer requirements and any or all OSHA training.

We are fortunate to have some very skilled and experienced technicians that can help and assist the younger techs we have.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We support local Jeep clubs, Toys for Tot's, etc.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We are always visiting local and non-local technical schools and high schools to inform anyone interested in the profession with the support and information they need.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

To continue to be the largest domestic shop in the triangle.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes, we provide an electronic application form or one you can complete at the dealership. It will take about 10-15 minutes.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, we provide an electronic application form or one you can complete at the dealership. It will take about 10-15 minutes.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews typically occur at our dealership where the potential hire will sit down with multiple management personnel. Typically the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager and/or shop foreman is present for in-person interviews. A few basic questions are asked to find out what you are looking for in a dealership to see if we are a good match. You will have the opportunity to walk through our shop and talk to our technicians.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes. Background checks, driving record checks and drug testing are required

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Applicants will talk with the shop foreman or lead technician and they will review different job skills with you.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Offers are made usually with 24 hours contingent on the background and drug screens.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

48-72 hours depending on background and drug screens

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $60,000 - $100,000/year

Technicians are paid flat rate with weekly production bonuses as well as bi-annual production bonuses. Techs are provided with full benefits package after 90 days including a free pair of work shoes each year. Technicians are paid for training time.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $80,000/year

Technicians are paid flat rate with weekly production bonuses as well as bi-annual production bonuses. Techs are provided with full benefits package after 90 days including a free pair of work shoes each year. Technicians are paid for training time.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $35,000 - $55,000/year

Technicians are paid flat rate with weekly production bonuses as well as bi-annual production bonuses. Techs are provided with full benefits package after 90 days including a free pair of work shoes each year. Technicians are paid for training time.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $32,000 - $42,000/year

Technicians are paid an hourly rate with weekly production bonuses as well as bi-annual production bonuses. Techs are provided with full benefits package after 90 days including a free pair of work shoes each year. Technicians are paid for training time.
