Current Team consist of 10 technicians (4 Master Techs), 4 Service writers, 4 Parts Personnel, 1 Parts Manager, and 1 service Manager

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Saturday 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Sunday CLOSED

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Alignment Rack Tire and Wheel balancer

What type of break room facility is provided?

Locker room with separate shower and facilities

How many bays does your shop have?

22 Bays and an Alignment Bay

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average over 1200 CP-Warranty-Internal Repair Orders monthly

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts are 99% fill rate and in stock

What is your policy on side work?

Side work is not authorized unless an RO is opened

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Shop is staffed with good, hard working technicians who take pride in their work and their work place.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

All technicians are required to complete all Nissan Factory Training which is paid for by the store.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Our technicians range from D techs to Master techs with all training opportunities provided by and paid for by the store.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We conduct an initial 90 day review followed up by semi-annual and annual reviews

What type of safety training is required?

We maintain a safety committee which meets monthly to address any and all safety concerns

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our current staffing consists of experienced technicians. That being said all of our techs work well together and assist each other in any and all situations.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

The Chapman Auto Group supports numerous local charities.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Our technicians as well as our Corporate team work with high school, tech school, and UTI on a regular basis.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Our shop continues to grow and our customer base continues to grow. Our reach is phenomenal and our growth opportunity is huge. We cant grow without technicians.

We take pride in ensuring that every available opportunity to learn and grow is provided for our technicians

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Our application form is online and takes 5-10 minutes to complete

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Not always but can do if needed.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Basic interview questions to ensure that we are the right fit for the technician and that the technician is the right fit for us.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do require pre-employment background and drug screening

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No we do not

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

12-24 hours if not immediate

All of our new hires attend a new hire orientation which reviews all policies and procedures as well as all benefit programs to our employees

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000/year ($36.06 - $72.12/hr)

Flat Rate with Bonus

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $70,725 - $100,000/year ($34.00 - $48.08/hr)

Flat Rate with Bonus

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $66,570 - $80,000/year ($32.00 - $38.46/hr)

Flat Rate with Bonus as well as Hourly plans

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $36,000 - $45,000/year ($17.31 - $21.63/hr)

Hourly/productive with Bonus

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $125,000/year

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000/year

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $25,000 - $38,000/hour

Collision Technician - A Level Pay Range: $65,000 - $150,000/year

RF with Bonus
