Factory Diagnostic & Equipment is provided. We are also equipped with 2 Alignment Racks to minimize down time

34 Bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1100 - 1300

What is your parts ordering process?

Fairly Simple. Parts are ordered by technician once authorization is received from the advisor & customer.

What is your policy on side work?

Family Vehicles must be authorized by Service Manager

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Union Shop, Guaranteed Yearly increases based on production, Weekly Guarantee, Production based bonuses per pay period. Cookouts, Saturday Lunches

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes we offer paid training to all manufacturer required training. In addition, any training performed to maintain certification is paid for as well. Chapman also offers a strong one on one mentorship program.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Reviews are performed initially at 90 days, then 3 reviews are performed yearly.

What type of safety training is required?

Chapman has a Safety Committee that meets once a month

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our shop mentors works side by side with the entry level technicians. He will start by teaching techs the very basics and continue on an individualized career path at a comfortable pace for the apprentice.

Chapman is active in the community and involved with local trade schools.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We frequently visit local schools and tech schools to encourage students and parents to join this profession.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Our shop is always expanding and looking for the right individuals to become the leaders in the area for customer satisfaction, diesel & gas repair along with the new and emerging electric vehicles

Our application form is web based and can be completed in under 15-20 minutes

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000/year

Flat Rate with Bonus

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $100,000/year

Flat Rate with Bonus

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $75,000/year

Flat Rate with Bonus as well as Hourly plans

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $25,000 - $45,000/year

Hourly/productive with Bonus

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $125,000/year

Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $175,000/year

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $25,000 - $38,000/hour

Collision Technician - A Level Pay Range: $65,000 - $150,000/year

Collision Painter Pay Range: $75,000 - $175,000/year
