About Us

Bundy Motors Inc opened in 1977 with two employees and a rather small work area. To date we have expanded our facilities three times. We have tried to continually improve the quality of our services, and we the technical equipment that is necessary to maintain this business quality. We take pride in the fact that our business has grown dramatically without the aid of formal advertising. We expect our employees to take pride in performing their individual responsibilities, and hard work ethics. As we continue to grow, we hope to maintain the friendly, informal atmosphere we have.

Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Both shops are heated, no A/C.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We are a small shop with 13 employees

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours are from 7:30 - 4:30 M-F

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

No tools provided. Techs must have their own tools

What type of break room facility is provided?

Bundy Motors does not have a break room.

How many bays does your shop have?

Bundy Motors has 12 bays to be used.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Each month is different, we are efficient in getting the vehicle back to the customer as soon as possible.

What is your parts ordering process?

The body shop manager and service manager will order parts upon request or as needed.

What is your policy on side work?

Side work is not allowed on Bundy Motors Property.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Bundy Motors offers I-CAR and ASC training.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Bundy Motors will work with each employee in order to grow their skills and knowledge in the automotive trade.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Shop Manager or Body shop manager will have a yearly review with each employee to discuss your performance in the company.

What type of safety training is required?

Monthly Safety meetings and monthly safety trainings are provided on Bundy Motors premises.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

1 to 1 training will be provided for technicians that are looking to learn more about the trade and grow in our company.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Bundy motors works closely with Kids Safe of CT with donating vehicles and works closely with other local charities.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Bundy Motors does not provide any services in high schools or tech schools.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Bundy Motors has been growing since 1977 and we continue to grow everyday.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Bundy Motors does have an application to fill out, it will take from 15 to 30 minutes to fill out.

Bundy Motors does call applicants to schedule an in person interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Bundy Motors performs a formal sit down interview and introduces our facility and our policies.

Bundy Motors does perform all tests.

Bundy Motors does not have a skill assessment before hiring.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year ($24.04 - $38.46/hr)

Based on experience

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year
