What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Shop hours are 7:30 AM-6:00 PM Technician shifts are from 7:45 AM-5:30 PM Lube Technicians are from 7:30 AM-5:00 PM
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Manufacturer-specific tools for technicians and lube technician tools are provided.
What type of break room facility is provided?
There is an airconditioned break room with a refrigerator, microwave, television, and a sink.
How many bays does your shop have?
We have 10 bays.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We average around 600.
What is your parts ordering process?
DFX is used through the DMS and back counter access.
What is your policy on side work?
Employee or immediate family members' vehicles only.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We pay for manufacturer training and ASE certifications.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Lower-level technicians can always have the opportunity to move up. Technician helpers and technician apprentices can train to become fully certified technicians.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance reviews are based on time employed, attitude, and work performance.
What type of safety training is required?
We have quarterly safety training by KPA.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
They do side-by-side training and monitor other technicians through repairs.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We work with the local high school.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are involved with the local high school and are looking to build on that relationship.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
No
What do your in-person interviews entail?
meeting and discussing opportunities with the service manager and the general manager including a facility tour.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
We do drug screenings.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
We perform verbal assessments and reference checks.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
1-3 days.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
1-5 days.
Technicians
Pay Range: $12.00 - $38.00/hour
Pay depends on experience and certifications.

- We offer PTO accumulation 4 hours per month on the first day of the month following a 90 day continuous employment.

- We offer 5 days of vacation after you are employed and completed 1 full year of employment. 10 days vacation after you are employed and completed 5 years of employment. 15 days vacation after you are employed and completed 25 years of employment.
- Paid Holidays Offered
- All full time employees will be granted the following holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
