Heat- Not needed Air Conditioned - Portable A/C units and high-volume fans. Shop design allows for great airflow.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We have a team of 8

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The hours are 8 am - 6 pm M-F / Rotating Sat 8 -12 Also, Shift times can be accommodating with 4 10s or Tuesday through Saturday.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Tools we provide- OEM specific and Large shop tools

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a Shared Breakroom with the store. Fridge / Microwave, tables, chairs, etc

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 9 available space to add more lifts as we grow

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average about 700

What is your parts ordering process?

The parts process is as follows: Fully staffed and stocked parts department for quick availability and sourcing. Electronic ordering and communication through Dealer-FX or Xtime. Most parts are delivered directly to the technician toolbox.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work in the shop. Techs may work on their own vehicle after hours with Service manager approval and open RO

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Unlimited hours from high volume used car reconditioning, organized service lot with a full staff of valets for quick access to vehicles. Designated employee parking lot. Winter only lasts a week 😊

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer the Matrix program for our on boarding technicians and offer continued on site education.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We offer our tech's the opportunity to get certified in Mitsubishi and ASE with the opportunity to learn many other brands with our used car department inventory.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We like to sit down and review the performance of the team at 90days and every year of employment there after.

What type of safety training is required?

Bonita Springs Mitsubishi takes safety very serious and follows osha guide lines with multiple inspections throughout the year over the entire workplace.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

As we grow and positions open we like to keep our team together and promote within advancing employees to the next level with a great referral program for employees who know someone that would like to join the Mitsubishi family.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

When searching for technicians we try to utilize local tech schools to help their job placement upon graduation

Where do you see the shop in five years?

In the next five years I see us being one of the top Mitsubishi dealers for parts and service. We have plenty of room to add more lifts and technicians to the shop as we grow to the top.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a paper app, and a online app through the website. It usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, sometimes we do ask questions over the phone before the in person interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

The candidate will go to the dealership, and meet with the Service Manager and or Manager for that position.

From the time the hiring process starts it takes about 3-7 days to finalize and get you on your way to being part of the Bonita springs team.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $87,000 - $106,000/year

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $68,000 - $87,000/year

C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $68,000 - $72,000/year

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
