What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Our service team consists of 25 technicians and 54 employees overall.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

We are open 7:30-6:00 pm Monday through Friday and 7:30-2:00 pm on Saturday.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Any and all diagnostic tools and equipment is available for all technicians. This includes Ford scan tools, off make scanners, Ford specialized tools, presses, alignment machines and tire equipment.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a recently renovated breakroom that has a refrigerator, cable tv, microwave and coffee machine.

How many bays does your shop have?

44 bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1800 average repair orders per month.

What is your parts ordering process?

Fill requests asap - local PDC is 1 day out. If part is on delay or backorder we seek alternatives via local dealers or move to aftermarket equivalent parts.

What is your policy on side work?

Moonlighting is acceptable as long as it doesn't interfere with our normal operations. To utilize our facility we must have a an open repair order for insurance purposes.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Air conditioning, state of the art locker room with lounge chairs and cable tv. Two available alignment racks and tire machines. Overhead oil rails available for most bays.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We pay for completed OEM Training both on site and off premise including : Travel, Lodging, Food, and time at class.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Sky is the limit! We have several dealers across several states that offer opportunity for advancement!

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have dedicated techs that are here to work with our newer or younger techs side by side to provide them with the skill and training needed to grow as a technician.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We offer all full time employees 40 hours of PTO for volunteer work at qualified partners.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We participate in several local vocational programs. We also partner with Ford for the ASSETT program and YES program through the NHRA.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We hope to grow enough over the next 5 years to add a stand alone facility that does reconditioning, detail and heavy line work. This is a part of our 5 year vision for growth.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

We are contributors to Brownsburg High School Athletics department. We are also one of the gold sponsors with Brownsburg Education Foundation as well.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Our application includes a Caliper which helps us better understand individuals strengths and how to best manage you personally. Overall the application process takes about 30 minutes.

Yes but it may depend on resume and skill level.

We discuss technical skill level, what you are looking for from your employer and tell candidates about what we offer as an organization.

We do background checks and drug screening. Our traits assessments are done during the application process.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $50,000 - $100,000/year ($24.04 - $48.08/hr)

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $80,000/year ($21.63 - $38.46/hr)

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $30,000 - $35,000/year ($14.42 - $16.83/hr)

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $30,000 - $35,000/year ($14.42 - $16.83/hr)

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $95,000/year

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $30,000 - $35,000/hour
