Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Shop is heated and we have an evaporative cooler to make it comfortable in the summer.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
Each shift has 4 to 8 Techs and at least one Coordinator for parts and service on it
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Shop opens at 4 AM Sunday morning and closes at 3:30 PM on Saturday, other than Saturday evening its open 24 hrs a day. Shift times vary.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
The shop provides diagnostic tools, engine tools, and tire tools.
What type of break room facility is provided?
The shop has a break room that is air conditioned and heated, has vending machines, microwave, and other items to make employee comfortable while on break.
How many bays does your shop have?
Main Shop can accommodate 9 tractors and Rebuild & Major Powertrain Shop can accommodate 14 tractors
How many repair orders do you average per month?
The shop generates around 75 repair orders a day.
What is your parts ordering process?
Techs email requests to the parts department and orders are placed around the clock (most deliveries are daytime only). We stock several hundred parts and usually have everything needed to repair the units.

Benore Logistic Systems, Inc. wants its technicians to focus on Benore work activities.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Technicians are mentored and have access to the latest diagnostic equipment.

Offering 4 Technician levels and various managerial positions, Technicians can continue their career growth with us.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Technicians are reviewed after 90 days and then again after one year.
What type of safety training is required?
OSHA safety training is required.

Lead and Sr Techs provide mentoring to junior techs.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We visit local college diesel Tech Programs. The company participates in various community events.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We visit local schools to promote and recruit diesel technicians.
Where do you see the shop in five years?
The company is continuing to grow, which will significantly add to our fleet of Trucks and trailers, therefore requiring our sop and staff to grow.
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
Yes, we have an online application form at www.benorelogistics.com. It takes about 10-15 minutes to complete our online application.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes, the talent acquisition team will conduct a phone screening to determine if the role is a good fit.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
The in-person interview consists of a meeting with the hiring manager and relevant team members. We like to provide a transparent and open discussion on expectations and work environment.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we perform pre-employment drug screening, physical, and background checks.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
There are online skills assessments that must be completed for Maintenance Coordinator and Manager roles.

Usually between 1-2 business days

Maintenance Coordinator
Pay Range: $22.00 - $24.00/hour
Compensation per hour.
Maintenance Manager
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00/year
Compensation per year.
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $37.00 - $40.00/hour
Compensation per hour, pay will be based on background and certifications
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $30.00 - $32.00/hour
Compensation per hour, pay will be based on background and certifications
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 - $23.00/hour
