Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Yes, our shop is heated during the winter months.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
Our current team consists of 9 technicians.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our current shop hours are 8:00am-5:00pm.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
All factory tools are provided including scanners and tire balancer.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We provide our team members with a break room and meeting room located upstairs. Amenities include use of the refrigerator, microwave as well as in-house coffee.
How many bays does your shop have?
Our shop has a total of 6 bays: 2 post bays and 3 flat stalls.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We currently average 450 repair orders per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
All special orders are pre-paid in advance. Parts will be received as soon as possible for technicians to finish their repairs
What is your policy on side work?
We require that technicians only provide side work for direct family only.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We currently provide manufacturer training and continued education when available to our team members.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Individual technician skills will dictate personal growth within the dealership. Our management is always willing to assist our technicians in achieving their career goals, recognizing hard work, consistency, and the desire to grow within the industry.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance reviews are conducted annually by the Service Manager.
What type of safety training is required?
At this time, we do not have a formal safety training aside from shop safety rules and acknowledgement.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We are proud to provide a team atmosphere. Our management is always open to mentoring younger technicians. Our experienced technicians are always readily available to answer questions, and work side-by-side when time permits.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
At this time, our shop does not get involved in the local community. Though, the dealership as a whole is very much involved with community activities and sponsorships.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are very involved in the local FFA organization.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
When screening applicants, we only call applicants who are located outside of the Dillon area prior to an in-person interview. This consists of a light phone screening to gauge applicant interest and alignment.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interviews are completed by a manager in which standard interview questions are asked including but not limited to: candidates background, certifications, skill set, and getting to know them as a person.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
We do not perform background checks, drug screening or personality tests before hiring a new applicant.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
At this time, there is no skill assessment we perform prior to hiring.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
Following an in-person interview, a follow up is conducted typically within 2 days.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Hiring decisions are typically completed within 2 days of interviewing.

Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00/hour
Flat hourly rate based on experience
Lube Express Manager
Pay Range: $18.00 - $21.00/hour

Setup and Accessory Technician at Beaverhead Motorsports
Pay Range: $15.00 - $17.00/hour

Service Advisor
Pay Range: $36,000.00 - $60,000.00/year
Salary range based on experience
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
Flat hourly rate based on experience and certifications
Lube Technician
Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00/hour
Flat hourly rate based on experience and certifications
Collision Painter
Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hour

B Level Technician
Pay Range: $14.00 - $20.00/hour
