What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

65 people in the service center

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday - Friday 6am- 6pm Saturday - 7am - 430pm Shifts vary depending on individual availability/job roles.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all basic essential tools and toolboxes to perform the needed jobs.

What type of break room facility is provided?

MASSIVE break room. Fully stocked much like a gas station with food, snacks, and energy drinks. Outdoor patio with an grill. We do cater food on Saturday for the whole team. Giant fridge to store lunches in, silverware, plates, and multiple microwaves to warm food up.

How many bays does your shop have?

25 bays and adding more.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

2,000

What is your parts ordering process?

Full service parts department. Requests for parts are generally sent in through the computer. We do have a parts runner who will bring parts out to the technicians. Heavy items like engines and transmissions will be brought in via forklift and dropped off to the technicians bay.

What is your policy on side work?

Not allowed.

We have both inhouse training and training available through Ford's asset program. Opportunity for growth is endless for the right individual.

Case by case basis but we do reviews at 90 days then every year

KPA training for every employee

We have a huge mentor program that has a master tech stay with you for your whole employment here. Tech will be available to answer questions and help with repairs when time permits

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We do a local volunteer event every month when it's possible

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We have a partnership with avenue scholars and a few of the high school programs

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We are expanding adding 7 more bays and hope to double in the next 5 years

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

We really try to build within and make our employees the happiest in the business. Our employee surveys are the highest in our group and rank higher than some major corporations.

Yes, takes about 5-10mins.

Interviewing with our Service Manager. Interview will include discussing the candidates background, certifications, career path, and getting know the person

A Level Technician Pay Range: $25.00 - $40.00/hour

Ford Master Technician status, one must complete 550 hours of schooling, pass multiple certification exams and be a Ford Technician for at least 5 years.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00/year

Ford certified Technician status, one must be working to complete schooling, pass multiple certification exams and be a Ford Technician for at least 2 years.

C Level Technician Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00/year

Technician status must be able to perform recalls flushes and brakes

Service Advisor Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $90,000.00/year ($19.23 - $43.27/hr)

A service advisor is a professional who assists customers at a car dealership to understand their car’s maintenance or repair options and answers customer questions before they are scheduled with a technician. They perform general office duties, receive complaint logs, sell merchandise, and explain the work performed and associated costs to customers. Their main role is in a customer services capacity, ensuring that the dealership’s customers are satisfied with the services they receive.

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $13.00 - $16.00/hour

Entry level tech starting on his path to being a tech.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00/hour

Perform oil changes tire rotations and tire repairs
