8:00am.-5:00pm. Monday-Friday NO WEEKENDS!!!!
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Service machines and equipment, as well as some factory scanners and access to several resources.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We provide a very nice break room with large windows and mountain views. Includes a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, table, chairs and a TV.
How many bays does your shop have?

How many repair orders do you average per month?
300 - 400
What is your parts ordering process?
Technician will diagnose vehicles and write up the repair order. Once the order is written up it goes to our front staff for approval, and to get the parts ordered Tech then Front staff.
What is your policy on side work?
Side work is discouraged
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
Our facility includes painted floors, a bright workspace, automatic main doors and is well organized and clean.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We offer NAPA classes throughout the year, and other classes are available online. We also help with ASE certifications, every test passed will be reimbursed
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Can you describe your performance review process?
We provide 90 day reviews, 6 month reviews, and after the first year reviews will be yearly. Reviews will include discussions about goals, our shop vision, if any improvements need to be made, and what they're good at
What type of safety training is required?
Safety training is discussed every monthly meeting
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Technicians will be paired with more experienced technicians when time permits. Experienced tech will be available for questions and on-the-job training
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We participate in Napa BDG community events all year.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Yes, skills USA at TMCC every year and 3 - $5000 scholarships yearly.
Where do you see the shop in five years?
Our hope is to expand in the next couple of years. To achieve this we're always looking to put the best people around us, and expand our customer base

As a company, we're always looking to come up with more ideas on how to help our technicians achieve their career goals
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
Paper application that takes about 20 minutes to complete.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interview is done by Monte the owner and James our manager . The discussion can include things like their background, certifications, and getting to know the candidate

Yes, for certain positions.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
Not at this time. Skill assessment is done during the interview process.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
1 - 7 days

2 - 3 weeks.

Our hiring process is pretty straight forward. All we ask is the candidate does their best to be on time
A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $75,000 - $150,000/year

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $75,000/year

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $35,000 - $45,000/year

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $150,000/year

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $100,000 - $200,000/year

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $25,000 - $27,000/year
