Arcuri Truck & Trailer Repair was recently acquired; however, the shop itself has been in business since 1972 and was family owned. We have made tremendous strides in upgrades, pay scale, and benefits. We are looking for Skilled Mechanics to join our team.

Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

The Shop IS heated and air conditioned.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We currently have approximately 15 employees.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop hours are 7am until 5pm ( Monday-Friday) Every other Saturday 7am until 12pm

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All of the Tool are accessible for the mechanics to use, although it is recommended that mechanics bring their own tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

A break area is provided.

How many bays does your shop have?

2 Large Bay Doors with room for 8 Commercial vehicles.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Approximately 100

What is your parts ordering process?

We have a parts department that handles this.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work allowed

We are currently searching for a skilled Mechanic that will work with trainees.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

The police department utilizes our cameras, We order parts from local businesses, and we are looking to sponsor local vocational schools.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

As a new owner, we are looking to establish a relationship with the local community schools in the near future.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Remodeled, updated equipment, expanded clientele, and more community involvement.

We have a short application form.

Yes, we phone screen applicants before doing an in-person interview.

In-person interviews entail reviewing the applicants work history, experience, questions, and tour of the shop and yard.

Yes, we perform background checks, drug screenings.

We do not perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant.

You are hired or rejected on the spot, following an in-person interview.

The hiring process takes approximately one week.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $0 - $100,000/year

Up To $100K per Year- Commensurate With Experience

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $0 - $62,400/year

Up to $62.4K per Year-Commensurate With Experience

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $0 - $200,000/year

Up to $200K per year-Commensurate With Experience

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $0 - $41,600/hour

Up to $41.6K per year-Commensurate With Experience
