Reviews will depend on the employee. Discussion includes what they like, what we may need to improve on, and raises will also be discussed
What type of safety training is required?
Safety training is an ongoing process

Experienced technicians will be available to answer questions and work side-by-side with more junior techs when time permits
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We participate in different local organizations. We're always looking for other opportunities
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We've tried to work with different schools in the past. This is something we would like to work on in the future
Where do you see the shop in five years?
We're always looking to advance. If that means adding a tool or a program to make us better we're all for it. We look to keep up-to-date in this changing industry

Foremost, we're looking for someone who is a good person, good natured, and doesn't mind working hard. If we can help them succeed, we succeed

Paper application, that only takes a couple of minutes to complete

Quick conversation to gauge the interest level of the candidate before bringing them in for a face-to-face interview
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Interview is done by the owner. Discussion includes their history in the industry, their qualifications, and skill set. We also discuss their strong points, and the candidate's career goals. We end the interview with a shop tour

Pay Range: $40.00 - $45.00/hour
Hourly pay structure with time and a half, pay is weekly
Diesel Technician Class B
Pay Range: $30.00 - $35.00/hour
Hourly pay structure with time and a half, pay is weekly
Light Duty Diesel Technician
Pay Range: $25.00 - $28.00/hour
Hourly pay structure with time and a half, pay is weekly
