Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Yes! Working as a Driver Merchandiser Assistant, you work alongside a CDL-A Driver Merchandiser. This is great experience delivering and merchandising our products to put you on the path to becoming a CDL-A Driver Merchandiser yourself. Additionally, we have an internal CDL-A development program for current ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages associates who want to transition from their current role to becoming a CDL-A Driver Merchandiser. The training is free and allows employees the opportunity for higher earning potential and career growth. Additionally, under certain circumstances, employees may be eligible for tuition reimbursement through our Educational Assistance Program.

We have a close relationship with the local Houston community and participate in a variety of fundraisers and special events throughout the year. We also provide product donations to local organizations and events. We value our partnership with local businesses, customers, and consumers.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Our team visits local high schools and tech schools to meet with students, introduce our company and job openings, and discuss career pathways. We offer roles with little to no prior experience required, which are great opportunities for recent graduates.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals.
