Responsibilities
- Schedule warranty repair orders and submit claims of manufacturer warranty
- Maintain receivables schedules; service contract claim submission and follow up
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to ensure prompt receipt and shipment of replacement parts
- Communicate with Service Advisors to define scope of warranty claims
- Process all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation and to verify criteria
- Reconcile warranty receivables and work with accounting department to obtain payments
- Stay abreast of all factory recalls, announcements, and procedures
- Establish and build positive relationships with manufacturers designated warranty representatives and representatives of aftermarket warranty companies with which the dealership conducts business
- Review every warranty repair order written for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility
- Determine applicable labor operation codes, failure codes, and/or other administrative data required
- Ensure all deductibles are properly documented to ensure they are collected from the guest at the time of repair completion
- Review returned and/or rejected warranty claims and prepare repair orders for re-submission
- Maintain record of claims submitted, returned/rejected, and paid, and their current status
Qualifications

High school diploma or the equivalent

Minimum of 2 years of Ford warranty administration experience OR

Minimum of 2 years of Service Advisor and/or Service Coordinator experience preferred

Exceptional communication skills and experience dealing with complex issues and customer concerns

Integrity and honesty are absolute requirements

Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Pass pre-employment drug screen and subsequent random drug screens

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Ability to type and utilize all functions of a computer and various operating programs
