Job Summary:
Pallotta Ford, a leading automotive dealership in Wooster, Ohio, is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Service Certified Technician. As a certified technician for our Ford brand, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. This is a full-time, hourly position that offers a hourly FLAT RATE range of $35 to $50 based on your experience and certifications.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Perform repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other vehicle components
- Complete all repairs and maintenance tasks to dealership and manufacturer standards
- Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repairs and maintenance recommendations
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Keep track of parts and supplies inventory
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ford Certified Technician status
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician
- Extensive knowledge of Ford vehicles and their components
- Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Must have your own tools
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
