Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs efficiently, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including:

    • Engines, transmissions, and differentials
    • Electrical systems, including wiring and charging systems
    • Brake systems, including hydraulic and ABS systems
    • Suspension, alignment, and steering systems
    • Air conditioning and climate control systems
    • Advanced safety and driver-assistance systems
  • Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid top-offs

  • Perform multi-point inspections to identify potential issues and recommend preventative maintenance

  • Install, balance, and replace tires as needed

  • Handle minor and major mechanical repairs, such as timing belts, water pumps, and fuel system repairs

  • Operate diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and resolve vehicle performance issues

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring safety compliance

  • Test-drive vehicles to verify proper functionality before returning them to customers

  • Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used

  • Communicate effectively with Service Advisors about findings and repair recommendations

  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, fostering a team-oriented environment

Qualifications:

  • ASE or similar certifications (preferred)
  • Strong automotive background and teamwork skills
  • Clean, valid driver’s license
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Willingness to submit to a background check
