Used Car Technician
Duties and responsibilities:
- Identify mechanical problems, often by using computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Test parts and systems to ensure that they are working properly.
- Follow checklists to ensure that all critical parts are examined.
- Perform basic care and maintenance, including changing oil, tune-ups, checking fluid levels, and rotating tires.
- Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads and wheel bearings.
- Disassemble and reassemble parts.
- Use testing equipment to ensure that repairs and maintenance are effective.
Qualifications to include but not limited to:
- Certifications will factor in to pay plan.
- Great attitude.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Detailed oriented.
- Dexterity, requiring a steady hand, excellent hand-eye coordination.
- Mechanical skills.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Working well with others in a group setting.
Job Type: Full-time.
Experience:
- Automotive Repair: 2 years.
- Automotive technician/mechanic: 2 years.
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Drug Free Dealership.
Salary: $25.00-33.00 per hour.
Monday -Friday.
