Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities
- Check and communicate oil level to teammates
- Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
- Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
- Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
Service Technician Responsibilities
- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
- Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
- Complete all warranty documentation to factory standards, return warranty parts and cores per manufacturer.
Qualifications
- Previous experience at an automotive dealership preferred
- Years of experience vary per position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Basic computer competencies
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
