Express Technician
Job Summary:
Pallotta Ford, a leading automotive dealership in Wooster, Ohio, is seeking a full-time Express Lube Technician to join our team. This individual will be responsible for performing oil changes, tire rotations, and other minor maintenance services for our customers' vehicles. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the automotive industry and have a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time, hourly position with a competitive compensation package of $17 to $20 per hour, paid biweekly. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a retirement savings plan and paid time off.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine oil changes and tire rotations for customer vehicles
- Inspect and top off fluids as needed
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and document findings
- Communicate with customers to explain services and any recommended repairs
- Efficiently complete all tasks within the designated time frame
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Continuously maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills through training and certifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in automotive industry preferred but not required
- Knowledge of basic vehicle systems
- Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
