Automotive Technician

Service Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic tests and identify mechanical and electrical problems in vehicles
  • Complete routine maintenance and repairs on various makes and models of vehicles
  • Replace or repair defective parts such as brakes, suspension systems, and engines
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and recommend necessary repairs to customers
  • Utilize dealership software and diagnostic equipment for thorough and accurate vehicle assessments
  • Keep up-to-date on vehicle advancements and attend training as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment

 

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience as an automotive service technician
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude
  • Proficiency with dealership software and diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to maintain a fast pace in a team-oriented environment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
