Parts Manager

Job Summary:

The Parts Manager takes ownership for:

•Parts supply for stock and in process jobs.

•Excellent customer service for external clients and internal employees.

•Ensure all data in FullBay is accurate.

•Parts and core returns processes.


Responsibilities/Job Duties:

•Trustworthy, honest, ethical, hardworking, dedicated to work and family.

•Order and receive parts for inventory stock or in process jobs.

•Process any part returns and process core returns in a timely manner.

•Work with Service Manager and mechanics to keep repairs on schedule.

•Keeps parts inventory and service shop clean and neat.

•Ensures all data in FullBay is accurate, added correctly, and updated as needed.

•Communicate by phone with numerous vendors to determine the parts needed for repair.

•Navigate and maintain various vendor websites for ordering parts.

•Must seek to acquire and maintain close, positive, and friendly relationships with sales representatives and coworkers.

•Work with mechanics to determine parts needed for jobs.

•Regularly attend any FullBay training classes and be attentive to program updates.

•Pick up parts as needed (a valid driver’s license is required with a clean driving record maintained).

•Reports for work and stays on the job 8 hours per day unless emergency arises which requires additional duty.

•Displays tolerance necessary for working with energetic customers as well as accepting criticism of job performance.

•Works in harmony with supervisory and peer personnel.

•Supports senior management and company goals.

•Willingness to increase skills and learning.


Physical Requirements:

•BODY POSITIONS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for prolonged periods of time.

•BODY MOVEMENTS: The employee must have a full range of body movements including the use of his/her hands to finger, handle, and feel objects such as glazing products and equipment. The ability to bend the body, to reach for objects, and to stoop, kneel, or crouch, crawl, climb or balance when needed are also required.

•BODY SENSES: Vision requirements must be sufficient to shift in focus from computer screens to close forms. Exhaust vapor smells and loud noises frequently occur.

•STRENGTH: The employee must have the ability to lift up to 75 – 150 pounds on occasion.
