Yes and yes!
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
35 total team members in the Service department, 21 of whom are technicians.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
The shop operates Monday - Saturday. We have 2 shifts M-F, 7:30am-4:30pm and 9am-6pm. Our Saturday shift is 8am-4pm.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Volkswagen/Audi specialized tools including diagnostic tools. We are working on developing a tool kit for hourly techs to use.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have an upstairs breakroom with tables, refrigerator, microwave, sink
How many bays does your shop have?
We have 27 bays total, 14 in our own building, 13 from neighboring stores including our sister Mercedes-Benz of Palo Alto store. We stay busy!!
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We average 29 ROs a day and about 700 ROs a month.
What is your parts ordering process?
Once work is approved by the customer, whether warranty or customer pay, the request is submitted through our DMS and the counter team will order parts as needed based on availability. The counter team will follow-up with the advisor and technician when the parts arrive in-store.
What is your policy on side work?
We allow side work that is approved by the Service Manager on case-by-case basis.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
Growth and training of our techs is important to us. We frequently send techs to training, as long as you're up to date on pre-requisites and have the attitude and desire to learn. We also prioritize a family atmosphere and are committed to success. Our team regularly works extra hours to support one another and achieve our goals.
