What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

The service department at Ed Martin Nissan Fishers consists of roughly 20 employees total including technicians, service advisors, warranty clerk, porters and cashier.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Ed Martin Nissan of Fishers is open from 7:00am-6:00pm Monday through Friday, and 7:00am-2:00pm on Saturdays. Saturdays are for Express service, and we only have 1 master tech on Saturdays. Each mainline technician works 1 Saturday every 7 weeks.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Scan tools, alignment rack, transmission jack, engine stand, engine hoist, top side creeper, a/c machine, brake flush machine, power steering flush machine, and all Nissan specialty tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

Inside and outside break rooms. Inside has fridge, microwave, coffee maker, air conditioning with table and chairs. Outside area has a picnic table and shade.

How many bays does your shop have?

13 2 post lifts 1 alignment rack 1 heavy duty truck rack 2 express bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

What is your parts ordering process?

Technicians order parts needed for repairs through our parts department.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work allowed on Ed Martin property. Technicians may work on their own vehicles or family vehicle after hours.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

The Ed Martin Nissan culture is the best part about working at this dealership. We are a very close knit family with low turnover. We pride ourselves on treating people with respect and taking care of our people.

Top Shop Challenge: What are a couple of things you'd like to highlight that happened last month?

Kpi was a huge focus for us and we ended January 2023 with a bang. We were able to achieve our goal we set for our team and concluded the month at Tier 1. This gives us a great start to the new quarter and the new year!

What are a couple of things you'd like to highlight that happened last month?

For the month of December we ended the quarter at Tier 1 for Kpi under Nissan standards which is a huge accomplishment for our team.
