The shop is heated, and has ventilation.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We have approximately 10 line techs and 5 express techs at any given time.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop is open 7:00a-6:00p M-F and 7:30a-2p Saturday. Technicians work every other Saturday, and are expected here between 8-5 daily. Express techs' shifts vary, but are basically 7-4, 8-5, or 9-6 depending on day/tech.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Honda specialty tools are provided to all technicians in a large, organized cabinet. Technicians are to supply their own tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

There is a break/conference room with kitchenette upstairs that's available for employees to use.

How many bays does your shop have?

The shop has 30 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1900/mo average for 2022

What is your parts ordering process?

The parts department handles ordering all parts for RO's/customer vehicles. Technicians can use Reynolds or visit the parts department to look up/order parts.

What is your policy on side work?

Side work is permissible only for immediate family or personal vehicles with an RO written and permission.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer mentorship/apprentice opportunities and paid factory training.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We love to grow technicians here! As skills and performance increase, opportunities to progress open incrementally. We would rather move technicians up the ladder within than hire from outside!

Can you describe your performance review process?

Technician hours are monitored, along with more experienced technicians monitoring new technicians to find bottlenecks and training opportunities.

What type of safety training is required?

Standard on-the-job training coupled with bi-annual group safety training.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Senior flat rate technicians are given the opportunity to mentor younger/newer technicians to help with ongoing performance review and finding opportunities for newer techs to grow in whatever way benefits them and the company most.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We participate in community outreach hiring events for the areas around our store.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We sponsor a local career center and have programs in place to allow job shadowing and apprenticeship. We also participate extensively in job/career fairs and hiring events in the community around the dealer.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Continuing to grow our Express Service business and producing 3-4 more Master Technicians.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a traditional application, and it takes 15-20 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We will typically follow up with applicants and pre-screen when scheduling an interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

An informal interview with our Service Manager and, if requested, a tour of the shop.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Depending on the applicant's pre-hiring schedule and commitments, a few days to a couple of weeks is typical.

A Level Technician Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00/year

Tech bonus per hour after 45hrs, 55hrs, 65hrs and 75hrs.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $30,000.00 - $65,000.00/year

Tech bonus per hour after 45hrs, 55hrs, 65hrs and 75hrs.

Service Advisor Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $110,000.00/year

Commission-based sales off of total sales, customer satisfaction bonus, incentive programs for product contests.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $20,000.00 - $50,000.00/year

Bonus structure for overall hours turned as a team.
