Our shop is heated, it is not air-conditioned.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We have 6 advisors and 30 total technicians.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The Shop Hours are 7:30-6:00 PM Monday-Friday; Shift Timeframes are five days a week.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All specialty tools are available for technicians to use.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have 2 breakrooms provided to the staff here at Autostar of Silverthorne. We have a designated shop breakroom as well.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 26 bays available to technicians.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1000 a month. Please note that we just underwent a buy/sell, and this is a new store for our company! We are hoping to increase our average!

What is your parts ordering process?

Our Policy: We order daily from the manufacturer. The Parts Depot is also only an hour and a half away. We find that we utilize this commute often for quicker parts!

What is your policy on side work?

Side Work is Termination. We do not allow our technicians to take work out of the shop.

Yes, We work with our manufacturers to offer additional training with all associated costs covered by our company.

We host performance reviews every 6 months, focusing specifically on their growth in the company, attendance, and overall production.

What type of safety training is required?

We require the typical safety training at all auto shops.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We offer apprenticeships where you'll work alongside our master technicians, gaining hands-on experience and expert mentorship.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We work alongside Subaru incentives through the Subaru Love Promise to get involved in our local schools and charities. We are currently partnered with FIRC and the Rotary Club.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We work with the local community to encourage individuals to join the profession in our North Carolina stores. Due to the Buy/Sell, we have not yet had the opportunity to set things up here, but we have started the process of looking into local programs.

We do not typically phone screen applicants.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We like to discuss background, experience level, and manufacture training.

We perform background checks and drug screenings, but we honor Colorado law. We do not perform personality tests, but we do make sure that a candidate will fit well into our team during the interview process.

We do not perform a skill assessment test before hiring an applicant.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Same day to 2 days at the most. We like to offer almost on the spot, but for more managerial spots, it can take a little more time.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

No more than a week. We like to make the process as painless as possible.

Service Advisor Pay Range: $72,000.00 - $120,000.00/year

Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses

Service Technician- A Level Pay Range: $45.00 - $60.00/hour

Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses

Service Technician- B Level Pay Range: $50.00 - $60.00/hour

SIGNING BONUS- 5,000 (Contingent on 90 days), 1,000 Month for 6 Months Allocated for Housing Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses

Service Technician- C Level Pay Range: $60.00 - $60.00/hour

SIGNING BONUS- 5,000 (Contingent on 90 days), 1,000 Month for 6 Months Allocated for Housing Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses

Lube Technician Pay Range: $17.00 - $23.00/hour

Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses

Diesel Technican Pay Range: $90.00 - $100.00/hour

Paid Weekly Salary, Monthly Commission on the first Friday of every month, CSI Bonuses, Performance Bonuses
