Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
YES! We will soon have the entire service shop heated and cooled via 26 package units complete with ducts directed into each bay.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
In total we have 10 service advisors currently in our service department along with over 30 technicians of varying levels. We will be adding to those numbers when our capacity increases once our remodeling is complete. We also have a separate in-house used car reconditioning team consisting of a manager, 2 advisors, a shop foreman, and 8 technicians.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our dealership service hours are 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. We ask our technicians to be ready to work at 7:30 and work until 5:30. We may soon be looking at a version of split shifts of some kind to keep up with our workload.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all specialty tools required by Ford. We also provide miscellaneous tools and equipment that allow us to complete repetitive or tough jobs in a more timely manner.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a dedicated breakroom complete with a full-size commercial refrigerator, full-size commercial freezer, microwave, air fryer, assorted utensils and plates, etc. There are multiple tables and an abundance of seating options, all in a climate-controlled room.
How many bays does your shop have?
Once our renovation/remodel is complete we will have 65 working bays available.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
Typically we run about 600 RO's through the main shop and around 1200-1500 through our Quick Lane. We hope to increase our main shop capacity by almost double in the next few months with our increased bay availability.
What is your parts ordering process?
We currently utilize MyKaarma as our routing/tracking/MPI/estimating tool. Technicians build their quote for recommendations in the tool on their phone, tablet or PC and send it digitally to parts for quoting and ordering.
What is your policy on side work?
We allow side work on personal and family vehicles outside of shop operating hours.

Take a look! The second phase of our shop addition and renovation is move-in ready. Arrow Ford technicians are starting to move into the renovated space in the original footprint of service department. With the addition (and ongoing Quick Lane renovation), Arrow Ford will increase the size of its service department by over 29,000 sq ft. It includes new central heating and air conditioning, too!
