Toyota Special Tools needed for specific jobs, on car brake lathe, latest alignment rack and diagnostic machine, computer diagnostic equipment, A/C machine
What type of break room facility is provided?
Conference room area with leather chairs, refrigerator/freezer, microwave. Vending machines available

What is your policy on side work?
No side work on site. No recruiting your own customers from our customer base.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
Service Manager has been with the company 10 years. Tenured management staff.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We have an onsite Shop Foreman who helps lower level techs to become higher level technicians. We pay for all factory training and travel to and from factory training sites. We pay for ASE's if you pass them.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We do not hold anyone back who wants to receive more training and advance. Frequently, technicians begin with us as lower level techs, receive some basic training and skills through working with our Shop Foreman. From there, they are sent to Toyota training in Cincinnati. Pay raises are given as more Toyota certifications, ranging from Certified to Master, are achieved.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance reviews completed as more training is acquired, or upon request by employee.
What type of safety training is required?
OSHA Safety and Hazmat training, lift training. Lift training is completed onsite on first day of employment.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We do not have a formal mentorship process. This is mostly done by the Shop Foreman.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We sponsor local sports teams, the arts, and various events throughout the community.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We work with our local technician school, providing co-op opportunities for tech school students. We have a close working relationship with the head of the program.
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
We encourage honest communication about what you want from your career. We have a place for people who want to receive the highest levels of training and for people who want to focus more on maintenance.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We do not screen before the interviews, but if we wish to move forward with your employment, we will call references listed on your application.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
We like to include several members of our staff when hiring new employees, to make sure it's a good fit for our tight knit crew. The interview includes a formal sit-down with our Service Manager, Shop Foreman, and Service Advisors. We usually do not require a second interview.

Pay Range: $29.00 - $31.00/hour
Pay plan includes hourly increases for production, pay based on the certifications, background and skill set
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $19.00 - $26.00/hour
Pay plan includes hourly increases for production, pay based on the certifications, background and skill set
Lube Technician
Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00/hour
Pay plan includes hourly increases for production
Service Advisor
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00/hour
Bonuses for service contract sales, hours per R/O
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $31.00 - $36.00/hour
