Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
We have a beautiful new shop with two heat sources and large ceiling fans that keep your work environment comfortable all year.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
The team consists of 8 + technicians, 2 parts professionals, 3 service advisors, a service manager, and a parts manager.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
We are open from 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. We offer several shift options to meet your schedule.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We have a large selection of specialty tools.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a great break room plus outdoor seating for nice days.
How many bays does your shop have?
We have 12 bays including an alignment rack on a large drive-on hoist
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We service customer pay, warranty, and fleet accounts that total around 400 per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
All of our repair orders are handled thru a shared software program.
What is your policy on side work?
This can be discussed on a case by case basis- but is limited to family vehicles.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We offer a clean shop with specialty tools plus a supportive team of technicians and managers. We also service a huge breakfast Friday mornings.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
There is ongoing training thru the manufacturer and specialty classes thru the dealership.

Can you describe your performance review process?
Meeting together and discussing your accomplishments and challenges allows us to help move your career forward.
What type of safety training is required?
We have training twice a year on shop safety along with manufacturing classes and new tool or processing training as needed.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
A senior technician will assist with answering questions and showing new skills to younger technicians. Working through repairs together helps build camaraderie within the shop.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We help out thru the local chamber and have events thru-out the year held at the dealership.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
At this time we are not.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We are happy to talk over the phone first but we enjoy meeting in person.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
A meeting with the service manager and general manager. We talk about your goals and how our dealership can help you grow.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes, we complete background and driving checks.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
We might, depending on the position.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
We will make a decision within a few days.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Usually one to two weeks, depending on the availability for interview times.
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?
We have a great hard working team, and strive to grow with positive people who what to make a difference.
Technician
Pay Range: $20.00 - $35.00/hour
We have a shop that offers opportunities for all skill and education levels. Plus incentive that raises the more hours turned all the way up to $6.00 extra an hour depending on skill level.
