Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
All our service shops offer heat and evaporative coolers for the summer
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We have lateral supports teams with a team leader and generally no more then 3 main technicians and 2 express technicians on each team
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Technicians schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm with working every third Saturday from 8:00am - 4:00pm with the previous Monday off.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
All Honda & Acura required factory tools, press, strut press, welders, torches, tire machines (3), balancers (2), alignment racks (2) full onsite collision center
What type of break room facility is provided?
Second floor lunch room with tables and chairs - 2 refrigerators - 3 microwaves - TV
How many bays does your shop have?
39
How many repair orders do you average per month?
2950 including Honda & Acura which all technicians work on both carlines
What is your parts ordering process?
Technician looks over vehicle with a thorough MPI - requests parts thru Reynolds Reynolds DMS software - parts counter person pulls parts and has on counter
What is your policy on side work?
No side work allowed in shop. We offer family discounts on labor and parts but a repair order must be generated and an appointment made like any other work/RO.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
Our culture is team work and training. We have a senior technician base that is ready to support and guide you into further growth
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We offer all factory self study training modules and once at 80% completion you are eligible to be in line for the hands on training center in Irvine Texas. We also encourage you to take as many ASE course and each one passed we will pay for
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
For example - If you start as a valet and show interest in mechanical work, we will work on getting you placed on an express team. Once on express you would graduate to a C apprenticeship with a main line technician. Then move you to a B tech, A tech and then an A tech team leader
Can you describe your performance review process?
We offer a yearly review and raise of some amount following our employee review forms
What type of safety training is required?
We are Partnered with KPA and Associates which is an automotive related training company which we have quarterly visits with and then online safety training is also available for you to take and certain ones are required
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
If selected we would pair you with an express technician graduate moving over to the "C" apprenticeship program where there are financial bonuses tied for each person - mentor and mentee
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We are partnered with Boulder Valley Vocational School & Career Wise with the Chamber of Commerce
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes - and if good with both parties we would set an in person interview
What do your in-person interviews entail?
You sharing your background, what we have to offer you, our family story, tour the facility including parts departments and Collison center. Walk you thru our benefit program and what it has to offer
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Upon hire we will perform a back ground check and have you take an agility test at our workers comp facility

Immediately or up to 24 - 48 hours depending on how much activity and applicants we have applying for the position
