The shop is heated during colder months, and has ac for the hot ones
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We have over 37 full time employees in all roles at our shop. We currently have 8 technicians but will ideally grow to 9 techs.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Monday-Friday, 9am-5:30pm -Overtime may be earned before or after these hours No weekends!
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We have multiple scan tools, press, floor jacks, ac machine, engine hoist, transmission jack, and many other tools available as needed.
What type of break room facility is provided?
There is a break room facility with standard amenities such as a table, chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and a separate technician-only restroom close by.
How many bays does your shop have?
We currently have 13 bays.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
120+
What is your parts ordering process?
Technicians do not have to order parts at all, making it as easy as possible on them - an administrative assistant handles ordering.
What is your policy on side work?
None allowed.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We are a fast-paced shop with constant work available. We have an unlimited number of cars to work on as we are always buying and selling cars and doing repairs. If you're looking for consistent work and non-stop opportunities, look no further!

Top Shop Challenge: With a new school year upon us, what things does your shop do with local schools?
In July we gave away 800 back packs with starter supplies in them to children in need in our community. Every tech had the opportunity to be involved in the give away. We have in the past employed someone from the local trade school. He got experience and credit toward his graduation. It allowed him to get invited to a program at a local college to further his automotive education and gave us help in out shop and at the dealership.

Top Shop Challenge: WrenchWay recently celebrated its 3rd anniversary. Does your shop do anything special for employees on their work anniversary or their birthday?
For an associates birthday we get everyone a cake and balloons on their actual birthday. We also mail a them a card to their home. For an associates anniversary we also send them a card to their home, thanking them for their service. We also have an anniversary bonus program. The bonuses are paid at 1, 3, 5, 7, and every 2 years after. The bonuses get larger as the years of service increase.
