EXPERIENCED SERVICE ADVISOR Total Pay Range: $41,600 - $62,400/year ($20.00 - $30.00/hr) Hourly paid position PLUS bonus Provide superior customer service and the ability to maintain quality trusting relationships with our technicians, staff and customers. Principle duties and Responsibilities: • Answer phones courteously and in a timely matter. • Initiate automotive service by listening to descriptions of symptoms from customers, clarifying and documenting language, determining needs and appropriate preventive measures while providing technicians with accurate details of the complaint. • Check maintenance records and examine service schedules. Maintain automotive records, recommending services and scheduling future appointments. • Prioritize, maintain a schedule and control workflow. • Develop and maintain customer relationships by explaining estimates and expected return of value, obtaining customer approval on estimates, collecting contact information, answering questions and concerns. • Acknowledge and rectify customer concerns, maintain less than 1% customer complaints. Inform management of all areas of concern. • Developing accurate estimates by pricing parts, materials, labor and sublet. Sell an average of 3+ hours per RO, achieve and maintain a gross profit of 56%. Order correct parts and receive to appropriate RO’s and Technician. • Keep work and reception area clean and orderly. • Supervise a parking lot management plan. • Strictly enforce a clean work environment. • Participate in training as required. • Inform customers immediately if delays are expected or additional repairs are needed. • Manage and verify that work in progress is being performed as expected and customer promised time is being met. • Assign work to Technicians. • Describe all repairs performed with customers when returning vehicle. • Ask if alternate transportation is available and help arrange if needed. • Perform customer follow up calls as needed.
