We have a general toolbox if specialized tools are needed

We have a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, etc inside the office that all staff uses.

We have a parts desk that orders

What is your policy on side work?

If you are full-time, we generally do not like you to do side work.

We do yearly reviews

Safety Video training is required once a month

We have a TCI Cares program where we donate time, money, and whatever the need might be for that particular non-profit organization.

We are working on that program currently

Yes

What do your in-person interviews entail?

You will interview with the Shop Manager and the Regional Manager

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes. You will be required to do a drug screen and physical. We run your driving record to make sure you will meet insurance requirements to drive our vehicles and a background report will be run.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We verbally discuss skills in our interviews.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

About 2 days.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

It usually takes around 1 week. This time frame may vary depending on the results reported back from the drug screen.

Diesel Mechanic Pay Range: $24.00 - $36.00/hour
