Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

We have a well heated and air conditioned shop.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We currently have 12 technicians on our team.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Technician hours are 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday Saturdays are 8:00am-2:00pm on a rotating basis.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We offer the latest GM special tools that are inventoried in our parts department, a laptop for every tech, the latest Hunter Hawkeye Alignment system (purchased in 2022) 2 Hunter Road Force Tire Balancers, 2 tire machines, and various other equipment to make your job easier and faster.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a tech breakroom with refrigerator, microwave, water cooler, coffee maker and sink.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 16 service bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average 935 RO's per month.

What is your parts ordering process?

We utilize an electronic MPI system which allows communication between the parts department, service advisors and the customer.

What is your policy on side work?

Case by case basis.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer factory tech training that is paid for by the dealership. The training can be done online, virtually through Zoom or Teams, and in person at he training center in NY.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We encourage all our employees to be a student of their craft. The more one puts into personal achievement, the faster the growth comes.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We do performance reviews on a yearly basis.

What type of safety training is required?

We do not require safety training. It is provided as part of our training.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We do have a mentor program where we pair an apprentice technician with one of our experienced technicians.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We a partnership with our local government (Richland Township) on various local projects.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We have a relationship with our local tech school (Upper Bucks County Technical School) with regards to mentoring. We currently employ a graduate of that program that started here as a Junior.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Our goal is to continue our growth and expand in the future.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a standard paper application that normally takes 10 minutes to fill out on site.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We do contact internet applicants by phone to get an idea of what the applicant is looking for and to set up a formal interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We have conversations with our applicant so that we get to know one another as much as possible. We ask pertinent questions regarding past work history, training, future goals and how we can help to achieve them. We also ask questions regarding integrity and honesty as we value these traits in all our employees.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do a background check and Drivers License check on all employees.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We have a very aggressive technician bonus program as well as training incentives from the manufacturer.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $16.00 - $19.00/year

We have a very aggressive technician bonus program as well as training incentives from the manufacturer.

A Level Technician Pay Range: $32.00 - $38.00/hour

We have a very aggressive technician bonus program as well as training incentives from the manufacturer.

C Level Technician Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hour
