We have New Air Conditioning through out the Shop We have Natural Gas Furnace in each area of the Shop We have a Waste Oil Burner as well

Total of 3 Techs in the Shop

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

We open at 8:00 am Close at 5:00pm (Monday-Friday) NO WEEKENDS!!!!

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Diagnostic Scan Tools Steering and Suspension Tools Timing Chain Tools

What type of break room facility is provided?

We don't have a private break room

How many bays does your shop have?

4 Service Bays 1 Alignment Bay

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We have averaged 168 repairs over the last 1 and 1/2 years

What is your parts ordering process?

We order our parts online. We use Mitchel On Demand. This gives us the ability to order parts through our Work Order and and them to Ticker.

What is your policy on side work?

We don't allow side work jobs in our shop. We allow our techs to use the shop for their own personal vehicles. We don't allow family members or friends to use our shop.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

This is family friendly shop. We treat our Clients like friends.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer paid training to Courses at Tech Schools

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

With continued progress a C Tech can become a A Tech With training and expierence there is no limit to growth

Can you describe your performance review process?

We have currently a 1 time a year review. I am going to start doing quarterly review to provide better feed back to our Techs

What type of safety training is required?

We want basic knowledge to start. This means the ability to use a Fire Extinguisher. Apply Bandages to small wounds.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our Shop has a Team Approach. When a younger Tech has questions they are encouraged to ask them. We work side by side. When help is needed simply ask. Our older Techs ask for help too.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We support the following Groups with financial support. Big Brothers Big Sisters Hope House for Homeless Mothers with Children Scrip Program for Catholic and Lurtheran School Systems

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

At this time we don't

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

We encourage our Techs to be involved in the community. The Jaycees is an excellent organization for young people.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We haven't in the past. We will going forward because we see the possibility of Techs Applying from all over the country.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We have had a basic In Person interview process. This is because for 22 years every Tech was Referred to us. Owner takes care of the in-person interviews.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We have not done any of these things in the past because it hasn't been needed.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We want to know your education background. High School Tech School Grades and if you graduated. We want to see what you have done at previous jobs.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

With a Week

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

If we find the right Tech we could offer a job on the spot. As the owner I have hired Techs the day of the Interview. Otherwise a week at most.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about your hiring process?

We have a simple process so far. We are a family run business that is connected to our local community. I have tried to keep things simple.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $75,000.00/year

Hourly pay based on skills, experience and certifications

C Level Technician Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00/year

Hourly pay based on skills, experience and certifications
