We utilize Xtime inspect where the technician electronically sends in a parts request to parts.

What is your policy on side work?

Can use the shop before or after work with an open repair order and someone else in the shop with you.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer paid training for all technicians.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We offer a great opportunity for career growth as we have former technicians that have moved into being service advisors and parts personnel.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We are constantly reviewing all positions at our dealership.

What type of safety training is required?

We perform safety and lift training.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have our senior technicians work with a new technician for a period of time. If the technicians come in with a certain experience then go right to the floor with a lift of their own.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We as a store get involved with all kinds of outreach with the local community. As for the shop we have our EV technician work with the local fire department on safety training.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We work closely with CMCC (Ford Asset) as well SMCC Automotive program and the local high school.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We usually will have our shop foreman and service manager interview the applicant. We will sit down and discuss experience, and the applicant's wants and needs. We will discuss Rowe Ford and will do a walk around the shop.

Vacation Offered
Every employee hired in 2023 and moving forward will be given one week of vacation after six months of continuous employment. This week needs to be used within that current year of employment with the company. All Vacation time needs to be scheduled with Management and the timing of vacation is subject to coverage of departmental needs. Vacation will not be carried over to the following year of employment. -After six months of employment an employee will receive one week of vacation to be used within that first year of employment after the initial six months. -After the first year of continuous employment the employee will receive one week of vacation to be used during that second year of employment. -After the second anniversary of employment, the employee will receive two weeks of vacation, as well as, on the third and fourth year anniversary of employment. -After the fifth anniversary of employment, the employee will receive three weeks of vacation. -At the 25th anniversary of employment, the employee will receive four weeks of vacation. All Vacation time needs to be scheduled with Management and the timing of vacation is subject to coverage of departmental needs. Vacation will not be carried over to the following year of employment. Any request for an exception to the above policy must be approved by the General Manager or Dealer Principal.
