What is your parts ordering process?
Technician writes the order and gives it to the advisor who will order the parts. Parts will be received as soon as possible for technicians to complete repairs

As long as it's not on the clock, and doesn't interfere with their work
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We encourage our staff to continue their education. We pay half of the certification after it's passed

There's growth in our business through advanced education

No formal reviews. If something comes up we address it then. If the tech would like to discuss anything we open to any discussion
What type of safety training is required?
Basic shop safety training

Advanced technicians will be available to answer questions, and work side-by-side with junior techs when time permits
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We sponsor high school auto programs, donations for community outings, 4-H, and different sports programs
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Yes, we provide donations and a spot for younger techs to learn about our industry

The owner does the interview, discussion includes passing tests, if they have a background, what's their skill set like, what the business offers, and if they fit the shop
