The shop is heated.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Total staff is 6-8.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop is open 7am to 5pm, Monday - Friday. Technicians shift is usually 8am-5pm with an hour for lunch.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

The shop provides all lifts, flush machines, hoists, jacks, presses, lathes, parts washers, and a Bosch pass thru and laptop for programming.

What type of break room facility is provided?

There is a full break room with couches, tv, table and chairs, refrigerator, microwave and sink.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 25 total bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

250

What is your parts ordering process?

All parts ordering is handled by a designated service writer.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

All employees are encouraged to pursue ongoing training and education opportunities which are paid for by the shop.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We are dedicated to providing long term growth for all employees. Specific career goals are discussed with individual employees and a plan is put in place to achieve them.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Annual performance reviews are conducted at the end of every calendar year. During the review the employee is counseled in areas that need improvement and commended in areas when they have exceeded expectations. Bonuses and raises are determined and distributed at this time.

What type of safety training is required?

In house safety training is provided as needed.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

B and C level technicians are assigned to a master technician. The master technician provides oversight and guidance.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We make charitable contributions multiple local programs.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

No

Yes, a light gauge of the candidates interest level and to get to know them a little bit

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews included individual meetings with 2-3 members of management and ownership. This generally includes a tour of the facility and an introduction to other members of the team.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do perform background and drug testing.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No formal skill assessment. Skill assessment is done through the interview process

A Level Technician Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00/year ($38.46 - $60.10/hr)

A level technicians are flat rate with a 40 hour per week guarantee. Annual bonuses are paid at the end of the calendar year.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00/year ($24.04 - $31.25/hr)

Hourly employee

C Level Technician Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00/year ($16.83 - $21.63/hr)
