Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Our shop is heated, no AC in shop. Only AC in lobby, engine room and break room.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
Our team consists of: 5 technicians 1 "helper" 2 Service writers(1 also a parts manager)
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our shop hours are: Monday-Friday 8am-6pm 1 hour lunch 12-1
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
Our diagnostic equipment includes 2 Autologic's, 1 Autel, all timing tools, smoke machine, and numerous other tools.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a breakroom with AC, table, chairs, refrigerator, TV, microwave, coffee pot. We also provide employees with Redbull, Soda, Water, and endless snacks.
How many bays does your shop have?
We have 9 bays
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We average 160 RO's a month
What is your parts ordering process?
Once a car is diagnosed and approved, our parts manager will confirm with tech the correct parts and order. Parts are normally here same day or next.
What is your policy on side work?
We allow side work and technicians home. We do allow techs to work on their own vehicle after hours.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We are always open to more training as needed. World Pac offers classes year round. We are more than willing to fund travel and education classes.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Once an employee shows dedication and capability to perform his job, there will always be room for financial improvement. We do not hold back from our technicians, we are very grateful.
Can you describe your performance review process?
You will have a performance review after 30 days. If we are happy with each other health insurance will begin. Another review will occur at 90 days. During this review we will discuss a salary raise. Following the 90 day review, reviews will happen annually.
What type of safety training is required?
We are a specialty shop, most come with and have knowledge of safety.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
At the moment we do not have younger less experienced techs. But in the instant we will need our experienced techs to mentor a younger tech, pay options will be discussed.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We will speak over the phone, then invite for an in-person interview.

We can make a decision within 24 hours and you are welcome to start as soon as possible.
Experienced Mercedes Benz Technician
Pay Range: $72,500.00 - $86,500.00/year
($34.86 - $41.59/hr)
We offer a 25 hour per week guarantee. However the average hours a technician turns is 40 hours, most turn closer to 50 per week.
