Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Yes, heated and cooled shop for year round comfort.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
Our service staff consists of 14 service advisors, a shop manager, four shop foreman/team leads and 47 technicians. Teams vary from 6 to 15 members. Each team is assigned to a foreman/team lead as well as a dedicated parts counterperson team.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our shop is open 7:00 AM to 1:00 AM; we are not guest facing after 6:00 PM when our swing shift starts.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
IDS with VCMIII, VCM lite, FDRS, VMM, fluid exchange equipment, refrigerant recovery/charge, on and off vehicle brake lathes, tire mounting and balancing, press, powertrain tables and stands, non Ford/Lincoln scan tools, hybrid and EV equipment, vehicle dollies. All equipment for both standard and heavy duty vehicle lines.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Two well furnished break rooms with sinks, microwaves, full size refrigerators/freezers reverse osmosis hot and cold water dispensers, coffee bar and well stocked snack/drink machines.
How many bays does your shop have?
40 service bays not including 6 mobile service/repair vehicles.
How many repair orders do you average per month?
We process an average of 2,500 ROs per month.
What is your parts ordering process?
Dedicated parts department process all orders and maintains an in stock inventory of over $1,6000,000 in parts on hand providing an off the shelf fill rate of 68% and same day 73%
What is your policy on side work?
While we appreciate industrious individuals, we require all repairs made in shop to have an active RO to be charged at the appropriate parts and labor. We offer employee discounts on parts and labor.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Yes, technical training courses through Ford are available and encouraged for all skill levels. We pay for skills training and continued education for all technical staff ranging from entry level technician apprentice to senior master.

Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance review occurs on a regular basis with all technical staff in both formal and non formal coaching, counseling and celebrating circumstances. These reviews are ongoing in terms of productivity, performance, team cooperation and are tied career path planning through manufacturer technical training.
What type of safety training is required?
Job dependent safety requirements are maintained for all specific job roles and actions by technical staff. Above and beyond OSHA requirements this may include hazardous materials, guest privacy relating document retention requirements, remote repair
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our philosophy on apprenticeship is truly tailor fitted to each technician. We believe that each technician is worth of our investment along with their own including teaching senior technicians how to properly mentor others. A technician who is gaining experience has the opportunity to work with not just one senior technician but many as they continue to glean insight and advice from specialists in every repair category. Our culture is one of community growth and success.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We participate in all aspects of our community that reflect our guests; seeking to further assist the people behind the wheels and the paths they travel involving ourselves in environmental cleanup opportunities, community assistance sponsorships and activities. In addition to sponsoring car shows and other auto enthusiast activities, we find ourselves cleaning up the local rivers, supporting local 4-H programs and animal rescues or shelters. We also love to be involved in arts programs and festivals and sporting tournaments.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are committed to the next generation of automotive professionals. We sponsor several students and automotive educational programs locally, in state and nationally. Additionally we are partnered with the manufacturer seeking bright and willing young minds.

Yes, we like to set the stage for in an in-person interview on the initial phone call.

Broad topic discussion of job history and experience in addition to getting to know more about what drives you.

Lube Technician
Pay Range: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00/year
All mechanical repair technicians are paid Flat rate hour. The pay rate is specifically tied to manufacturer certified technical training.
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00/year
All mechanical repair technicians are paid Flat rate hour. The pay rate is specifically tied to manufacturer certified technical training.
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $90,000.00/year
All mechanical repair technicians are paid Flat rate hour. The pay rate is specifically tied to manufacturer certified technical training.
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $60,000.00/year
All mechanical repair technicians are paid Flat rate hour. The pay rate is specifically tied to manufacturer certified technical training.
Service Advisor
Pay Range: $48,000.00 - $145,000.00/year
Service advisor pay is based on both individual and group performance for labor dollar gross. Advisors are accountable for their ability to satisfy guest expectations of repairs.
Student Tech / Apprentice
Pay Range: $41,600.00 - $50,000.00/year
($20.00 - $24.04/hr)
Technician apprentices are charged with several aspects of mechanical diagnosis and repair as outlined by their assigned team lead.

- Loveland Ford Lincoln is now providing sick pay to ALL employees in accordance with the Colorado Health Families and Workplaces Act. All employees accumulate sick time at the rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked, up to 48 hours in a year. Paid sick leave may be used if an employee: (1) has a mental or physical illness, injury, or health condition that prevents them from working; (2) needs to get preventive medical care, or to get a medical diagnosis, care, or treatment, of any mental or physical illness, injury, or health condition; (3) needs to care for a family member who has a mental or physical illness, injury, or health condition, or who needs the sort of care listed in category (2); (4) the employee or the employee’s family member having been a victim of domestic abuse, sexual assault, or criminal harassment, and needing leave for related medical attention, mental health care or other counseling, victim services (including legal services), or relocation; or (5) due to a public health emergency, a public official having closed either (A) the employee’s place of business, or (B) the school or place of care of the employee’s child, requiring the employee needing to be absent from work to care for the child. Paid sick leave may be used in one-hour increments. Employees begin accruing sick time upon hire.

- Loveland Ford Lincoln offers vacation pay as follows: 40 hours of paid vacation per year is offered after 12 consecutive months of employment. 80 hours of paid vacation per year is offered after 36 months of consecutive employment.
- Paid Holidays Offered
- Loveland Ford Lincoln's paid holiday policy: Eligible after 90 days of continuous employment. In instances where your scheduled shift falls on a holiday in which your department is closed, you will be compensated for one day of pay. In order to receive this pay, you must have worked all scheduled shifts the business day before and after.

- After 90 days of continuous employment, all Loveland Ford Lincoln employees are eligible to opt in to $10,000 of no cost life insurance. Additional coverage is also offered for purchase.
