Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Our break room is equiped with 2 microwaves, a fridge, toaster, toaster oven, ice maker, water cooler, dishwasher and large break room table.

Service advisor orders parts for the technicians as needed
What is your policy on side work?
Every vehicle that enters the shop Must have a ticket on it, we are fine with working on Friends and Families vehicles but do not allow side work on vehicles in the shop.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We help all technicians to become state inspection licensed. We offer in house training with the shop foreman.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
Career growth is always available. We have two different locations and help put technicians on a path to achieve their goals.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Reviews are done annually, however we always make time to sit down and talk with our team with any concerns and/or improvements that they think could be made for the company and themselves at any time.
What type of safety training is required?
In house training as needed
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We have a junior tech in each shop that helps with 2 technicians each. The experienced technician will be available for questions and can help through repairs. The experienced technicians keep the junior techs involved in any diagnostics or repairs to continue their training.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We loved to help our community! We donate numerous times a year to local school and animal shelter fundraisers.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Anytime we are able to help or be involved in helping the future of field/business we love the oppurnity.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes, more of a screening to get to the in-person interview, very basic
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Work capabilities, Strong points and weak points, what drives you personally, diagnostic skills, tools, etc
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
No, must have a valid driver's license
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No, assessment is done through the questions during the interview stages. However, if the assessment is inconclusive but if the potential is there we may offer to come train in the shop for a day for further assessment.
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Flat Rate Pay, heavily based on certifications and background
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/hour

Top Shop Challenge: We're in the middle of summer now. Does your shop have temperature control to keep the team cool? Do you do anything else to cool them down?
It is a hot one here in Virginia! We took a break on Friday to go pick up Sonic slushes for all my guys. Our fridge has been stocked with ice pops for our team. Keep taking breaks in the AC and keep cool!
